It's Looking Green

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

When you’ve been sick for nearly a week and get hit by something else the second you feel better, cranky doesn’t even scratch the surface. I’m afraid I don’t have anything profound to talk about or any new art to share this week. However, my week long dance with two left feet and a bottle of meds opened my eyes up to something. Federal employees get 13 paid sick days a year. There is no Federal law that guarantees employees in the private sector get anything….and I’ll leave it at that.

Time to liven this post up with something positive! Since my mind is drawing a blank on the subject at the moment, I dug up something fun.

Little wingless dings are such a blast! They know how to cheer a person up.

The Burpleberry News Reel 

Mr. Burple Berry was last spotted chasing down a rainbow in search of an elusive pot of gold.  One anonymous reader was able to snap this photo of him:

Before his disappearance, he dropped off the prompt for next week’s Fiction Friday. He’s always had an interest in “the moon.” The Burpleberry News Reel looks forward to reading any and all 140 character stories revolving around the moon. Perhaps this past Fiction Friday sheds some light on Mr. Burple Berry’s whereabouts.


The grass is green, full of clovers. Run, run! My short legs barely keep up.  Huffing, I lower my pot just in time; here’s the rainbow.

SGS: Creativity!

Looking at Heather’s wonderful prompts, I just realized that April is almost over. Is it really the last Sunday of the month already!? How did that happen? Even with quarantine it feels like it just zipped by!  This week’s Seriously Geeky Sundays theme hits close to home, and I am super excited about it. As you all know, I’m an artist who loves to draw, paint, write, and sew!  26th April – Creativity What does creativity in fandoms/geeky interests mean to you? EVERYTHING. Just look at Club High Castle!  High Castle is the one fandom where I’ve felt like I’ve been allowed to flourish. The countless hours and dedication I’ve put into the things I’ve created has been appreciated by both fans and the cast and crew. High Castle is Coming to SDCC Again!

News on the High Castle Front!  High Castle is going to be at San Diego Comic Con again! Going off of last year’s SDCC appearance, we can expect some hints about Season 4, a release date, and a trailer! I have no idea what to predict about S4, so I’m going to hold all of my theories and speculations until after the panel. I CAN’T WAIT! Yet, it is also a bittersweet feeling knowing that this is the final season of the show that has been a huge part of my life since 2015. Never before has a TV show captured my imagination like Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle.   Here are the details as posted by the official @HighCastleTV Twitter account: When: Sat, July 20th at 4:15 PM I am assuming this is PST, so it will be 7:15PM for us East Coasters.
