Art and Amazon

The Bronchitis is gone, but I’ve pulled a muscle due to strenuous coughing. All I want is to feel 100% again! I would love that!

In other news, I’ve still been working on revising my NaNo novel and have started another drawing. It’s almost complete; I just want to tweak a few features on his face before uploading the polished piece. Here is the basic sketch for it:

Ice, anyone?

He’s holding a pair of silver tongs with a single ice cube. This drawing has been purely digital. Normally I’ll do the sketch on paper first because I like the feel and the control of using a pencil. However, sometimes I like to practice on digital media only. There are always areas to work on.

From the Burpleberry Newsstand!

Sara and the Burpleberry Rescue is now available on Amazon!

Mr. Burple Berry is thrilled that his world is now visible on the Internet giant, Amazon.com! He hopes that more and more people can experience the adventure that saved his world from a gloomy doom. He had a blast on Twitter for Fiction Friday, and here is his tale:

“I’m stuck here. I know they can see me! They said hello in 1969, but they couldn’t take me along. I guess I’ll always be The Man on the Moon.”

He looks forward to tackling next week’s prompt because it is what made the rescue possible. He hopes to see you on the 29th. …And the prompt is Math.

Return to Tomorrow: July

I am losing the War Against Busyism ; it is such an unfortunate truth, but that doesn’t mean I was idle while waiting in the trenches. I was able to scribble out a few things for the month of July. A patriotic prelude to my new avatar Pencil drawings are such fun! I have plans to make a digital version of this ink sketch. I’m a Fighter Pilot – The image I created my avatar out of. It’s too wide to post on here, so here’s the link! 7/3 books read. Thank FSM for lunch breaks.

SGS: Creativity!

Looking at Heather’s wonderful prompts, I just realized that April is almost over. Is it really the last Sunday of the month already!? How did that happen? Even with quarantine it feels like it just zipped by!  This week’s Seriously Geeky Sundays theme hits close to home, and I am super excited about it. As you all know, I’m an artist who loves to draw, paint, write, and sew!  26th April – Creativity What does creativity in fandoms/geeky interests mean to you? EVERYTHING. Just look at Club High Castle!  High Castle is the one fandom where I’ve felt like I’ve been allowed to flourish. The countless hours and dedication I’ve put into the things I’ve created has been appreciated by both fans and the cast and crew. I have never experienced anything like it, and it has genuinely made me happy over the years.  I’ve been in other fandoms where art and things just slipped by unnoticed–not that I’m seeking attention, but knowing that there are people out there who enjoy my...

High Castle is Coming to SDCC Again!

News on the High Castle Front!  High Castle is going to be at San Diego Comic Con again! Going off of last year’s SDCC appearance, we can expect some hints about Season 4, a release date, and a trailer! I have no idea what to predict about S4, so I’m going to hold all of my theories and speculations until after the panel. I CAN’T WAIT! Yet, it is also a bittersweet feeling knowing that this is the final season of the show that has been a huge part of my life since 2015. Never before has a TV show captured my imagination like Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle.   Here are the details as posted by the official @HighCastleTV Twitter account: When: Sat, July 20th at 4:15 PM I am assuming this is PST, so it will be 7:15PM for us East Coasters. Where: Room 6A I truly wish I could be there! Costume designer Cate Adair posted some details on Instagram, and I WISH I COULD TELEPORT THERE. Okay. Deep breath 😉 There will be a costume designers guild booth (#734) in the main conv...
