That time when NaNo ate my life!

Wait…that’s right now!

I honestly did not know what I was getting myself into when I decided to sign up for NaNoWriMo this year. I did not think it would consume everything! Even though I had made myself an outline that details every single chapter, it is still a lot of work!

NaNo time:

Weekdays
Get home from work
Cook and eat dinner
Do the dishes
Two hours of NaNo (or more)
Two hours to relax (if that)
Bed time!

Weekends
Random stuff in the morning
Write all afternoon while taking breaks to get a few household things done
Random stuff at night

This is both a rewarding and learning experience. I know I’ll thank myself for putting myself through this when I’m done!

Here is a snapshot of when I was still trying to figure out my NaNo schedule and was still writing some of it out by hand. I blurred the words for obvious reasons.

I know I still need to upload October’s art! I’m going to do that at the end of November when NaNo is out of the way…I still need to accomplish something artistic so that November will at least have something to upload on here.

The Children’s Book
I’ve finished formatting it, and I’ve also finished designing the cover. All I need to do is to make an account on the self publisher’s website and follow the steps to get myself a proof copy! I may wait until I’m done with NaNo so that I can give this my full attention. As I said before, I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I signed up for it this year.

Return to Tomorrow: July

I am losing the War Against Busyism ; it is such an unfortunate truth, but that doesn’t mean I was idle while waiting in the trenches. I was able to scribble out a few things for the month of July. SGS: Creativity!

Looking at Heather’s wonderful prompts, I just realized that April is almost over. Is it really the last Sunday of the month already!? How did that happen? High Castle is Coming to SDCC Again!

News on the High Castle Front! High Castle is going to be at San Diego Comic Con again! Going off of last year’s SDCC appearance, we can expect some hints about Season 4, a release date, and a trailer! I have no idea what to predict about S4, so I’m going to hold all of my theories and speculations until after the panel. I CAN’T WAIT! Yet, it is also a bittersweet feeling knowing that this is the final season of the show that has been a huge part of my life since 2015. Never before has a TV show captured my imagination like Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle.
